Twenty five years later the business is still run by Steve but has changed immeasurably, many new materials and processes have been added to along the way, and the company is now regarded as one of the foremost producers of design led door and cabinet hardware in the world. Turnstyle Designs was founded in 1992 by Steve Roberts in a small Devon barn, designing and producing a small range of Amalfine™ door knobs. Turnstyle exports over 75% of what it produces and has supplied handles to some of the worlds most prestigious yachts and buildings, both private and commercial.
